Setting it Up
Although most trail cameras come set with default settings when new, there are some things that need to be set like the date and time as I'm doing in this photo.
This camera had the AA batteries included, however once they are depleted I will switch them out with rechargeable batteries that I use in all my trail cameras.
Depending on whether the camera is set for shooting stills or video the batteries can last up to 3 months in the field without checking on them.
So far so good while testing this new trail camera in my backyard, and before long I'll take it out to a location where I'll set it up for the summer.
