Field Day..... Kananaskis Country..... The Southern AB Rockies
Did I ever tell you that I love this part of southern Alberta.
There is no finer place in Alberta than Kananaskis Country and over the years, I have found myself exploring the various areas of K Country every chance I could, and continue to do so, although today when I'm found exploring in K Country, I will be found carrying some means of working some DX along the trail.
Being a avid fly-fisherman, I also will be carrying my pack-rod as well, as the fly fishing in its pristine streams and high mountain back-country lakes is superb to say the least.
For those of you not in the inner circle, Kananaskis Country is the secret playground of the locals, and is located in Southern Alberta.
Kananaskis Country borders on to Banff National Park, where we allow our visitors to hang out......Kidding!
