First Light
Well sort of, as this is the first time out for my recently constructed antenna seen here in its dismantled form here.
This photo finds me about to assemble and set up the new 10-40 meter magnetic loop antenna that I had just finished building in my workshop.
I had decided to build a magnetic loop not because I especially needed one, but I seem to hear a lot of talk about mag-loop antennas, so I decided to build one to check out what they are all about.
Although it is shown here in its dismantled stage with a LMR 400 loop, I also use it with an all aluminum loop assembly that may also be dismantled for storage.
