How my Yaesu FT-897D and my 10-60 meter vertical antenna travel when hiking in to operating locations such as seen in this photo and the following photos.
If you expand the photo, and although somewhat out of focus along with hazy conditions on this morning, you can see the Rockies on the horizon, a distance of 120 kilometers from my location.
