Pack Radio Snow Day
There are times when I like to take my HF rig with included internal batteries into the back country, and the case it resides in just doesn't cut it.
For those times, I replace the case that my 897 normally resides in for my day-pack as seen in this photo.
My very portable vertical antenna may be lashed to the side of my pack, and I'm good to go.
