My daughter and I spent time ice fishing on Spray Lakes located in the Spray valley part of Kananaskis Country.
Spray Lakes is known for it's Lake trout fishing, possibly more popular in the winter months than in the summer months.
Of course I needed a distraction for when he fish weren't biting, so I'd brought along my Yaesu FT-897D along with my home-brewed 10-60 meter vertical that I set up on the ice.
