It's in The Book
So what your looking at here is the front cover of the ARRL's latest publication on building portable antennas.
I was very pleased when they let me know some time back that my construction article on my take-down yagi was to be published within the pages of this new book titled "Portable Antenna Classics"
My article titled "Take-Down Yagi for the 2 Meter Band" is also in the September issue of QST, and this article is one and the same as what appears in the pages of this new ARRL publication.
This is a construction article that will show you how to build this very portable antenna.
This latest publication from the ARRL also has one of my photos shown on the front cover, that I shot while running tests on my take-down yagi along the shoreline of Upper Kananaskis Lake located in Kananaskis Country that shares a border with Banff Park located in the Alberta Rockies.
As you maybe can tell by the fact I was wearing my mountaineering jacket, it was a cool blustery kinda day in the late fall of 2014, but my take-down yagi came through proofing the design.
Read about that day here.....
