Weather Happening Now
Sunrise can bring dramatic changes in the weather, especially if there is a cold front passing by as there was in this photo.
A closer look shows the telltale signs as the anemometer on my weather station is spinning rapidly, with the clouds being moved quickly out of the picture.
An hour later the skies were clear, and the wind had subsided with the temperature on the climb as a high pressure ridge developed over southern Alberta.
