VE6AB Mobile Ops
Satellite Coming Up
Early morning with the sun about to rise on one horizon, finds me about to work a satellite pass of SO50 coming up another horizon.
Temporarily positioned on the steering wheel of my mobile for a satellite pass, is my satellite module that I use along with the Kenwood D710 mounted in the radio stack of my mobile, for working amateur radio satellites orbiting the earth.
I use both transmit through and receive only type's of preamps, and my favorite preamps are those built by Advance Receiver Research.
For pass predictions, and a map-view I use my smartphone with a tracking software app when working the various satellite passes, or my netbook running SatPC32.
