Radio Waves and Mists
You have to love mornings like this one on this day forming up over southern Alberta, with a thin layer of ground mist creating a mysterious and inviting landscape.
I'm pulled over at the side of the road changing out HF antennas, as the bands were in reasonable shape on this morning, something that seems to be in short supply recently, so I was taking advantage while going down the road.
The HF antenna lying on my tailgate is part of my rugged coil antenna system, with the coil mounted in place for 30 meters mainly used with my SCS robust packet radio system.
The HF antenna mounted on my mobile is my 10-80 meter gearmotor antenna.
