The Mysterious Valley
Early morning finds me on a backroad in the badlands of southeastern AB, where I am working my way through this fog filled valley leading to a ferry crossing on the Red Deer river east of Jenner AB.
Beautiful fall morning with October just around the corner, so I'll take and run with it while the weather is such.
On this morning I had several things happening, one being my usual photo gathering as I meandered here and there, mainly going down roads less travelled, that being one's that I hadn't been down before.
I also was playing radio, as I had both the FM rig and the HF rig mounted in my radio stack set up for APRS, as I like to lay tracks while visiting new locations, then once I arrive back home, I check on what kind of APRS coverage that I had while visiting these different parts of southern Alberta.
Interesting area, and I was pleased with the photos that I shot on this morning, including this one that I thought the location for this homestead was very cool to say the least.....
