The Blue Hour
If you haven't been out and about in the early morning light shooting photos, you might not be aware of the blue hour.
Twilight, the period of time just before sunrise and just after sunset, is probably best known for the stunning visual quality it brings to photos.
Photographers and filmmakers refer to this period as the blue hour for its dramatic visual effect.
At this time of the summer, that being the beginning of June, I am shooting photos such as this one between 4 and 5 am.
The morning was already wonderful when I created this image, with the promise of a glorious sunrise.
I am enjoying the new mobile weather station that I recently put together and is seen here on my mobile.
My weather station ROVER-15 is a APRS weather station, and not only can it be observed on APRS capable radios, but it also may be seen on the Internet with weather graphs.
Read about my ROVER-15 weather station here.....
