Sounds from Within

This short video clip is to give you an idea as to the sounds being heard from within this General Electric 1.6 MW wind turbine.

I was parked approximately 100 meters away from the wind turbine, and pointed my shotgun mic that was connected to my DSLR at the turbine housing to capture the sounds from within.

The weather sensor array along with the strobe light mounted on the top rear, will give you an idea as to the size of this wind turbine.

If your wondering, I used a 500mm lens on my DSLR to get up close to the turbine, to shoot this short video clip.
