End Of The Road - The Sheep River
This was as close as I was going to get to the falls on this day, as conditions were not good enough to allow me to approach any closer, without suffering a fall on the extremely icy rock outcropings.
I suspect the fresh snow that fell overnight, started out as freezing rain, that still coated all the rock surfaces that I was trekking on to make my approach to the falls.
Still, I enjoyed the time that I spent out and about, although I would have liked to have seen the high reaches of the Rockies, that were there, but shrouded in clouds as my photo shows.
This pristine landscape held me spellbound, as this magical place made me feel as one with nature.
Special places like this one, do wonders for revitalizing one's soul.
