Springtime In The Southern Alberta Rockies
So I leave my home in Calgary with mist lying on the landscape, but the forecast is for a mixed sun and cloud kinda day over southern Alberta.
By the time I reached my destination in the Rockies, it begins to snow, and within a 1/2 hour the landscape turned in to the winter wonderland as seen here.
Still, it was stunning, and within an hour as the temperature rose on the day, the snow that was sticking to everything melted away, and this image seized to exist, well at least as you see it here.
Interestingly enough, 20 kilometers to the east just outside of the rocks, the ground was bare and dry with a mix of sun and clouds.
