Early morning finds me out on the grasslands with my stickbow.
With fall officially here, as the Equinox has just taken place, the leaves on the trees and shrubs are beginning their transition, as they change color before dropping their leaves in preparation for the snows to arrive.
The shrub in the photo is a chokecherry shrub, and as you can tell if you expand the photo, the deer have not eaten all the chokecherries.
How do I know its deer eating the chokecherries.....well for the most part it is, as you can see deer scats loaded with the remains of chokecherries lying about on game trails in the area.
