Buffalo Beans

With spring happening on the prairies, the Buffalo beans are one of the first wildflowers to bloom.

Every spring at this time of the year, seeing Buffalo Beans in the grasslands, brings back memories of my growing up in southern Saskatchewan, where the Buffalo Beans would be blooming.
Buffalo Beans can be seen growing in ditches and pastures as well as in the grasslands where I shot this photo.
