Lost and Found
Recently while hiking through these grasslands, I lost an expensive and difficult to replace metal lens cap for one of my cameras.
The following day I returned with my metal detector to retreive it. With months of being unable to use my metal detector (frozen ground), it was a pleasure to be able to once more get out in the field with it.
If you've never used a metal detector before, you're missing out, as they are a lot of fun, and the finds you make will surprise you.
The X-Terra 705 as seen here is a decent metal detector without having to break the bank when purchasing it, as you'll find it is possible to do when shopping for a metal detector.
The 705 is packed with features, including automatic ground balancing and continuous ground tracking capability which allows it to perform in the toughest environments.. The precision of multi-segment notch discrimination makes it easy to eliminate trash and identify valuable targets.
The 705 can be customized for preferred settings like sensitivity, noise cancel, threshold, and more.
My 705 has had the metal shaft replaced with a Anderson carbon fiber shaft, making it a much lighter detector, especially after several hours of continuous sweeping of the ground in search for treasure, would you believe a lens cap!
