Fog Filled Bow
I was crossing the Bow south of Carsland Alberta, when a glance to my right down river made me inhale sharply, as the beauty of the scene that lie down-river blurred my vision. Finding a place to park off the road, and with my camera in hand I hiked back on-to the bridge to a position that best framed the shot I desired. Problem was that there was a power line with markers suspended on it cutting right through the image that I desired. I switched out my wide angle lens for a long lens (300mm) and this compressed photo is the result.
Just so you know, I shot this photo with the temperature hovering at -24 Celsius and vehicles rushing by me on the bridge and some of them sounding their horns, threatning to push me into the river below. What you won't do for the capture of a image.
