Sunrise finds me on the hunt for buried treasure.
Actually I had been meaning to check on my geocache for some time, and this photo is me making that happen.
My Geocaching bag along with my Garmin Montana is resting in the window of an old abandoned building that dates back to 1905 as you can see the date inscribed in the sandstone that makes up the foundation.
The lower right photo is of my cache box, a recycled ammo box that houses the log book and other sundry items for my 5 stage multicache that is found through a combination of GPS coordinates and clues that need to be deciphered by the geocacher searching it out.
As the owner of this geocache, I have to visit it from time to time to insure that everything is in order.
It gives me an excuse to go for a hike in this most historic area that at one time was part of the LK Ranch located just south of Langdon AB.
