The Moon Up Above
Early morning with dawn breaking nicely on the horizon finds me running more tests with my take-down-yagi.
This antenna has proven itself, and is a good performer, and I am more than pleased with it since I initially designed and built my prototype.
Since then, I have built a 1/2 dozen take-down yagis, with a number of changes made from the first prototype, but basicly the design stood the initial tests, with the changes made mainly to make the antenna easier to construct for those who build my take-down yagi with basic hand tools.
I also made a few changes related to the appearance of the antenna once finished.
Like I said, I am extremely pleased with my design, as the take-down yagi is a winner both in performance and appearance.
Just so you know, the moon made for an interesting photo is all, I would need a lot more reach for moon-bounce than my take-down yagi and an HT.
